Day 126

Spring Break is here. I had no real desire to dress up today. It was basically going to be a lounge day. I'm pretty upset I don't get to go anywhere on Spring Break, but I guess it's a good thing I will be making money.

Day 125

I woke up at 6:51 this morning. Which is considerably late, since school starts at 7:30 and I'm used to waking up by 6 at the latest. I usually leave my house by 7:10-7:15 ish. Good news though, I got to school on time. I ran and took a 5 minute shower, blow dried my hair, put make up on, and didn't even have time to take my picture! I also didn't have time to pick out a cute outfit, so I wore my favorite kind of sweat shirt! No hood, and MSU! What could be better than that?

I also finished my 2nd quilting project, which is an Easter Gift for Sawyer!

Don't tell him about it though, it's a surprise ;)

Day 124

Another Blood Drive today! I missed all of school for it as well. I tried to give blood this morning, and I got denied for my first time! WHAT THE HECKLE SHMECKLE?! My hemoglobin level was too low. If you have given blood before, you know they prick your finger to test this. I personally think this might be the worst part of it all! They checked one finger, and I received a reading of 10.9 (The level has to be 12.5). She asked if I wanted my other finger to be pricked, and I said sure. She pricked that one, and I got a reading of 12.1. Come on! I didn't get to give today :(

Day 123

I recieved this dress as a Christmas Gift, and I had completely forgotten that I had it. I found it last week during our nice weather spell, and this most definitely is not a summer dress. I checked the weather this morning, and it said high of 50 so I decided to wear it! Even added some tights. I think this dress is rather unique. I like it.

Task #9- Cleanin' the Dynaride.

Task #9

This task was not completed, and let me tell ya why.. 

The Dynaride is having a rough time right now. I went over to my Grandparent's house on Saturday to clean her up. I was going to vacuum her, and even windex those windows she's got! On my way to take Brooke home, the oil light started blinking. I called my dad and he told me to go to my Grandma's right away (we were near their house) and take Brooke home in a different vehicle. Once I got back to my Grandparent's, I asked my dad if I needed to get the oil changed. He told me we were takin' her into Jim's Auto Body on Monday. Turns out there was no oil on the dipstick at all. So I, being the smart girl I am, asked why we didn't just fill her back up with oil. Come to find out the oil stays the same amount all the time because it filters through the car. I'm retarded. Somehow all the oil has magically disappeared. 

This didn't happen until Saturday, so it's not like I could pick a new task because most of them require more time. There was no point in me cleaning her up when I don't even get to drive her :(

Day 122

Friday Friday Friday! Who doesn't love Friday's? It's kind of a downer that it was so rainy today but that's okay, because it's Friday! Tonight, I saw the Hunger Games. It was quite a good movie. I have decided to read the book after I saw the movie, and I think that it's a good idea to do that.

Day 121

I'm really happy we have been having nice weather. Not just because it's beautiful out, but because this means more outfit choices! I have so many shorts pulled out, and rompers, summer dresses! I really think I might make it to the end of school without wearing the same thing twice. I was surprised to make it to 50 days, let alone 121 days! I really hope I make this accomplishment. It's a goal of mine!

Day 120- Rompin' it up.

Day 119- 8 months

Day 118

I'm just loving the weather. It's absolutely beautiful out. I can't wait until Wednesday so I can enjoy it. It's somewhat of a downer, since I go to school while it's dark out, and get home as the sun is setting. I feel like I never get to truly enjoy this wonderful weather we have been having!

I didn't do a task last weekend because I was so busy with the Seussical. I didn't get home until at least 10pm every night.

Day 116- Such a Beautiful Day!

It's absolutely gorgeous outside. I am pleased to say I spent some time outside today. Spencer and I went running after school. We ran about 4 miles! We didn't think we ran that much. We walked a little bit after about 2 miles and then started running again. It felt good, but exhausting at the same time.

Today, I wore a skirt... without tights! That's how nice it was! I'm so happy!

Day 115

Today I wore the same long sweater as I did on Day 13. As you can see if you looked back at that link, instead of brown leggings and my indian shoes, I decided to wear it with black. Day 114

Today I wore the shorts and tights that I've worn on Day 94 . I just love wearing shorts and tights now. I can easily match different shirts and blouses with these shorts, but my other flowered shorts I wore on Day 103 I cannot match with many. This week I am going to try to wear all of my wintery outfits because WINTER IS ALMOST OVER!

Day 111 & 112

Well, we didn't have school Tuesday. I shouldn't say we. The Juniors had to take their ACT's Tuesday. Man oh man do I remember how mad I was about taking them. A word of advice to the Juniors however, RETAKE THEM! I got 3 points higher the 2nd time around.

Yesterday and today were exams, so I haven't been at school a whole day. Because of this, I didn't really dress up. Wow, I just realized both days I wore some type of leggings. Right on.

Day 110- car troubles.

The ol' Dynaride is not doing to well. The heat stopped working a while back. I didn't mind too much, I just wore my gloves when I drove. Of course the seats are leather, which makes my bum cold sometimes. hehe. So the other day, I left my car home, and my dad fixed so much on her! He got her new wind shield wiper blades, fixed the heat, fixed the automatic lock system! I was so happy you don't even know.

This happiness lasted for about 2 days. Yep two. The automatic lock stopped working the same night the heat stopped working. What the heckle schmeckle. I tried to unlock it using my keys, and it didn't work. Not a problem, I figured it was just chilly out and it didn't want to work or something. So I unlocked my car using the key hole! I got in my car, and the heat just wasn't working. It was Saturday night, the night of a terrible storm! Okay, it was just snowin' out, but still. I was pretty mad it wasn't working at this point. I told my dad and I think he was mad too. I mean, all that hard work for nothing!

Now here's for the most recent happenings of the Dynaride...

This morning, ya know, me being the nice owner that I am, I decided to take her to Speedway to get some gas in her. I went back to the car, freezing as always, and I start her up. I put her in drive, and she wouldn't go. So I figured I hadn't started my Buick. I turned the car off, and tried to start her back up. She didn't do a darn thing. She wouldn't start! I sat at the pump for about 5 minutes trying to start her up every 30 seconds. I finally called my dad, and he came to my rescue. I was late to school by this time. He had me put the Dyna in neutral and my dad pushed us into a parking spot. He ended up taking me to school, and I guess he got the car to start later in the day. I'm gettin her checked on tomorrow.

Seussical

I can honestly say that being in the Seussical was one of the best experiences of my life so far. It has been overwhelming at times, and I still don't know how I managed to learn everything. When I am looking back on my Senior year  in the future, this is going to jump right out. It was just so much fun. I made friends with so many people that I never really thought I'd even talk to in High School. Closing night was sad for me, as it was for many. It's just sad to think I will more than likely never do this again. It was my first and last musical, and that upsets me. I do wish I had done other musicals. On  a brighter note, I have some pictures from the Seussical.

Day 108- Opening Night!

I just feel horrible today. I woke up and didn't feel good, my head hurt, my neck was sore and i had the worst feeling in my stomach! I missed 1st hour, and went in 2nd hour. I had my mom call me out of school 5th hour. Tonight is opening night for Seussical, and I really hope I feel better! I'm going to try to give it all I got, let me tell ya. I'm sure everyone in the show will do fantastic!

Day 107 Seussical for the kiddies

I missed school today too! Well I went to about half of first hour, and then all of the people in the musical had to get ready. Today we performed for all of the Elementary schools in our district. It was exciting! Also tiring! I didn't realize how tiring doing two shows was. I encourage you to come see the show! It's playing Thurs-Sunday 7pm every night, and Saturday and Sunday at 3 pm as well. It should be exciting! I didn't take a picture for today because I just wore sweats because I was barely in school.

Day 106

Today I went to school 1st hour, and then I missed the rest of the day! This is because I'm in TATU with a couple other students in the junior and senior class. TATU stands for Teens Against Tobacco Use. We went to Woodland Elementary and West Elementary to teach the 4th grade students about tobacco and how harmful it is. It's pretty interesting to hear some stories, and see how interested the kids are.
