Day 69- Happy Holidays.

Friday was our last day of school this year! We go back January 4th. I'm so excited to be off for these next two weeks. I don't really have anything big planned but I am very excited to spend it with my family and friends!

Friday's outfit was inspired by The Holidays!

How do you like my Christmas Sweater? It's my Grandmothers. I didn't want people to think I was trying to wear an ugly sweater today. I really like it and think it's cute! Although, I did feel kind of old today wearing this (sorry Grandma).

The school day Friday= ABSOLUTELY POINTLESS!

I did have a good day, though. It started off with my independent study, drawing and painting. I didn't do anything at all. Not a thing. I just chatted with my pals, Ben and Adison.

My 2nd hour was Spanish 3. We did a nice secret Santa. My person was Jordan Cooper (from Day 11- picture day). I decided it'd be funny to get him a live animal, so on Saturday, Spencer and I went to Petsmart and bought him a mouse. Her name is Priscilla. I bought a cage, bedding, food, and these chewing sticks and wrapped them all up for him. I wrapped the mouse in wrapping paper as well but don't worry you animal lovers out there! I poked holes in the top. My mom made my dad make Jordan a basketball shirt too (my dad has an embroidery & heat pressing business) because she felt bad that I got him a mouse. Needless to say, I think he liked it and now she is our new class pet. I received cute bobby pins from my friend Jessica :) Shout out to Jessica, thanks :)

I missed my 3rd hour to go to a Varsity Club pizza party. I played Euchre and watched Christmas movies, and of course ate some pizza.

My 4th hour I also missed to go to my Student Council party. Ahhh the perks to being on STUCO :) We all brought a dish to pass and we did a White Elephant gift exchange. I got a gift card to Subway and a big bag of M&M's. Great gift, Bryce :)

My 5th hour is Weight Training where I did half of an Insanity. Brooke, Aisha, and I started doing it and about 15 minutes in, Mr. Curtis asked if he could back it up so the whole class could do the first 10 minutes of it. We didn't really have a choice but we were okay with it! We still got a good work out.

Tuesday, Sawyer turned 5 months old!

Sawyer is starting to sit up on his own. I'm so excited to see him open presents tomorrow :)
On Wednesday, Sawyer and I got our pictures taken with Santa. He did so good!

Day 68- Fashion Fashion Fashion

Today, I wore some colors that are unlikely to be seen together. Brown and Red. I love this dress. Love love love it! I think the design on it is very unique. I decided to wear red tights because of the red in this dress. My brown heel/boots actually match the brown on my dress, I think the lighting may have messed with how it looks in the picture.

After typing the list of where my outfit came from, I realized there really isn't much to this outfit. I feel like I could've worn some sort of bracelet, but a necklace would've simply been too much.

I was pretty happy with the fashion in my school today. At Lakewood, not many boys dress up. I love it when guys dress up! I think it's really nice and handsome. Today, I actually saw a couple guys with sweaters on. If I wasn't doing a quick walk by in the hallway, I would've told them too. Jerry Grieser has the BEST style in our school for men. I love seeing what he wears every day. We had a nice chat about our outfits today as well.

My good friend Shannon Salgat has been wearing some really cute things lately! I love her style so much!

I'm really mad this picture is blurry. I wish it wasn't! I hope you can still see Shannon's outfit because it's really cute. Don't mind my hair, I washed it after weight training. Don't worry, it was the end of the day anyways!

Day 67

I'm so sorry. I forgot to do my blog for Friday. I don't know if anyone cares at all, haha, but I forgot and I will do it now. Friday I decided to go casual. Brooke and I went to the basketball game Friday night, so I decided I'd show a little school spirit this day.

Yes, I realize my shoes don't really match which is a biggy for me. But I had decided to be A Okay with it.

I'm very happy to say that I finished my first week of Insanity! The schedule for Insanity is Monday-Saturday. I do it in class Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Spencer has the Insanity workouts so I just borrowed the videos from him and did Wednesday's and Saturday's workouts at my house. Doing this will also hopefully make me a little faster in Soccer. I'm hoping it does and I hope I keep on doing it.

Day 66

Hola. So today was an alright day. I went to bed pretty early last night. I was asleep by 9:20 which is very early for this girl. I woke up at 4:30 because of a dream I had last night. The dream made me sad, but happy. In all honesty, if I could, I'd have that dream over and over and over again. When I woke up at 4:30 I figured it had been 6 and I woke up to my alarm because I hardly ever wake up on my own. I was kind of excited it was only 4:30 because this meant an extra hour and a half of sleep I was going to get! It was a plus to see that it was going to be almost 60 degrees today! I decided to wear a dress.

Day 65

Today, I auditioned for the Seussical. I'm pretty excited. I didn't really audition, I just told them I wanted to be in the chorus, but I'm still very pumped for it. I feel like I'm trying to do too much with my life right now but I don't really mind it. I like how my last year is going so far.

Day 64

 So this morning, I woke up and decided on black leggings with a grey button up and a belt. I couldn't remember if I've worn it yet this year so I checked through the pictures and sure enough I have. I was very close to saying screw it until I threw this outfit together. I've never worn these all together, today was a first!

He started playing basketball, and now he is uncleared as of today. I am still going to Varsity's game tonight to support even though he won't be playing.

Day 63- just livin'

Nothing outstanding happened today, and nothing horrible happened either. Today was just normal, and I'm happy. I got a sweet tea, and went to school. At school today, I had to help out for this Ellis Island thing for the Freshman US History class. A couple of us student council members helped with this. Basically our job was to make their life in "America" A living hell. The first class, I pulled people off the boat. If they answered me when I talked to them, I sent them to jail. If I didn't like their shirt, I sent them to jail. I admit, it was pretty fun. The second class, I gave out new names. I really just made up new names. They could be whatever I wanted, so I chose names like skinny boy, Hiki boy (he had a hiki on his neck. a freshman! can you believe it?! I embarrassed him by announcing this to the whole class), you owe me a sweet tea, callus. etc. It was humorous to me!

To be honest with you about this outfit, I was looking through my closet trying to think of what I haven't worn to school. I came across this shirt and couldn't remember so I went downstairs and looked through all the pictures of me in the mornings on my computer. I didn't see the shirt anywhere so I decided to wear it!

Today I did Insanity again, and it felt good. I'm so happy I am doing this everyday now. My good pal Kelsey Brown is coming over tonight because I'll be home a lone so I'm pretty happy about that!

Day 62- TATU

Well, Friday I didn't attend school so I just wore a black shirt and jeans. Instead of attending school, I went to a seminar type thing that's called TATU. Teens Against Tobacco Use. I was chosen last year to go and I came back this year as a "veteran". The kids in it with me are Shannon Salgat, Hannah Dejong, Nick Payne, Jordan Cooper, Cody Collins, Jordan Keitzman, Madison McLean, Emily Kutch, Paul Hager, Stephen Nisbit, and Kyler Knapp. We had a fun time I think :) I won two prizes so I was pumped about that. I also drove, and Friday morning the roads were HORRIBLE! I drove Hannah and Shannon to Hastings because that's where I thought this was at. Turns out it was in Middleville so we had to go another 20 minutes. Over all though, it was a nice time.

My weekend was basically based around family and friends, and I was very happy about that.

Friday night my Mum, Pap, Soy, and I went and got our Christmas Tree from Spitzley Spruces! Well Dad and I did anyways. Mum and Soy stated in Spitzley's heated garage while we did all the work. Mom and I went to Ionia to Meijer's to get bulbs for the tree and more lights. We're doing it Red and White this year :)

Saturday was a family reunion. I guess there are about 160+ people on my mom's side of the family. I had a nice time and also won a prize there! Popcorn and Blueberry Honey. I also saw a movie by myself. New Years Eve. It was pretty good, I enjoyed it. Later that evening I spent the night at my friend's Danica and Derrica Desgranges with Marisela Martinez and Kennedy Hilley. It was fun :)

Today I went to church with my Mum and Sawyer. I then went to Aisha's house to straighten her hair! Here are some pics.

Day 61- dead

So as I said in yesterday's post, I lifted on Tuesday. My legs hurt yesterday, and they hurt even worse today. They're just so stiff. I swear it probably looked like I was walking with a stick up my butt today. I couldn't help it though! Today, I started Insanity! I didn't want to lift anymore in weight lifting so my teacher said a couple of us could do the Insanity work out video's. I think I will get more of a result by doing this instead of lifting for 3 months and then stopping. Because I did this, I now feel dead. Yes, dead. I don't want to move, my legs are sore, I'm tired. Any who, now for my outfit.

Day 60

Okay, so last night I stayed at my friend Kelsey's house. I also went to the basketball game. They lost, but I still had a nice time. I only got about 6 hours of sleep last night so I am pretty tired. I decided to wear the high rise jeans today.

Day 59

I'm posting kind of early today if you haven't noticed. This is because tonight, I am working until 7, then picking up my good pal, Kelsey Brown. We are going to the first varsity boys basketball game tonight. Spencer is on the basketball team so I am going to watch him shoot some hoops. I really hope they win. After that, Kelsey and I are going to our friend Aisha's house tonight to watch Teen Mom 2, then I'm staying at Kelsey's. The festivities for tonight will be great :). Now, let's talk about my outfit.

The skirt I wore today was only $8.99. I do shop for deals, let me tell ya. I liked my hair today too. This morning, I woke up at 6:00 and got out of bed around 6:10.

I liked my hair today as well. I felt like everything going on would just be too much but then I figured, hey what do I have to loose? These jeans are the "bedazzle" jeans I talked about in Day 15. I just didn't know if the bedazzle on the butt, the jewelry, scarf, and boots were too much. Now as I type it seems like it would be but in reality I think it all turned out nicely.

Okay so yes, I had school Thursday and Friday. No I didn't do a blog for those days because they were half days for exams. Thursday I wore a plain black shirt with buckle jeans, and Friday I wore a pink sweatshirt with leggings and my pink Nike's.

Today was the beginning of a new trimester! My new schedule is..

1st- Independent study- drawing and painting

2nd- Spanish III

3rd- Senior Soc

4th- Survey of Math

5th- Weight Training

Drawing and Painting, I'm a little nervous about this hour. Independent study means I work by myself in the art teacher (Mr. Rinckey's) back room while another class is going on. I'm nervous because that means that his attention will be on me when he comes in the room and I'm not a very artsy person. I think I'd feel better if I was in a whole class full of people because I know everyone in the class won't be the next Da Vinci..

Spanish III, will probably end up being my hardest class. I love the teacher, Mrs. Roessler, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to learn a foreign language at this level. I'm going to stick it out, and pray that I do well in this class. I know as long as I study and do my work, I will at least pull a B and I'm happy with that.

Senior Soc, is basically a Physiology class. The teacher, Mr. Miller, is hilarious. I'm excited to see what this class will bring. Plus in Physiology, we learn a lot about how baby's act and why they do the things they do. This will be exciting since I can relate somewhat with Soy :)

Survey of Math, Probably my least favorite class already, and it's day 1. I'm just not very excited about it and I have a feeling 4th hour will just be a drag.

Weight Training, so pumped about it. I will be lifting with some of my best friends and I'm just so happy! I'm very happy that the class is the last hour of the day because this means that I can pull my hair up, work hard, and run. If it was any other hour, I wouldn't do this because I'd have to go to the rest of the day. Needless to say, this is probably my favorite class.

Day 55 oh what a snowy day

WINTER IS HERE! Yes it has been here for a bit now, but I don't count it until there's snow on the ground. Last night I've never driven on roads that bad. I went 20mph the whole way home from work and my friend, Aisha's house. She lives about a 5-7min drive away from me normally, but the drive last night was about 20-25min. I was pretty frightened. I personally don't think we should've had school today, but I still had to pick out something to wear!

Day 54- colorful!

Finally, I am wearing some color! I bought this shirt 2 weekends ago for $5.99! I'm pretty happy about this :) I realized I haven't worn my Indian looking boots in a while, so I decided to wear them with today's outfit. I also threw on the denim leggings.

I also was supporting breast cancer by wearing the "I <3 Boobies" bracelets. I thought they went very well with my outfit today. My cousin, Janae gave them to me when she was home from Virginia!

Day 53- back from break.

Ol' Soy throwin out a yawn! Sawyer woke up early this morning so he got a picture with me. Right before I was about to leave too! Today was the first day back from break, and it went buys surprisingly fast. I was pretty happy with it. These next few days we won't be doing much of anything in class because we have exams on Thursday and Friday.

Thanksgiving Break

In my last post I said that us kids that go to Lakewood will be off school Tues-Fri. My break has gone pretty good all in all. Many good things have been happening!

Sawyer
My little bro, Soy has grown up so much lately. He is smiling, rolling over, eating baby food, and laughing! Today was the first day I heard him laugh and, I'll admit it, I freaked. I've been so thankful that I got 6 days to spend with my brother. Brother. It looks and sounds so weird for these words to come out of my mouth or be typed in this blog. I never thought I'd have a brother and I'm so happy he's in my life. I've gotten to feed him a lot this past week and hold him nonstop. I've missed him falling asleep on my shoulder so much! I got the joy of him doing this 3 times throughout the week. :) This girl is one happy camper.

Thanksgiving
This Thanksgiving was such a good one! Then again, I can't remember a time when I've had a bad Thanksgiving. I think this is a good holiday because what people look forward to the most is FOOD! I've been thankful enough to have a big turkey dinner ever since I was little. Every other holiday, is about some sort of presents, just like it is for a lot of people.
Christmas- presents from family or Santa.
Easter- presents from the Easter Bunny.
Valentines Day- presents from a loved one.
Halloween- Candy.

Some people get mad on
Christmas if they don't get what they want,
Easter if they don't get what they want,
Valentine's Day if they don't have someone special to share it with,
Halloween not enough candy.

Instead of saying what I am thankful for this Thanksgiving, I made a video with Sawyer.

Black Friday
This year I went Black Friday shopping with my friend, Cameron. I was really afraid of doing this. Seeing stories on the news of past years really shook me up. We decided to go to the mall. We got there around 10pm and absolutely no one was in the parking lot. Not one car. So we went to iHop. We got back to the mall around 11pm and there were a few cars. Mind you, stores in the mall opened at midnight! We got a parking spot right in the front and walked in. There were a few people, not many. American Eagle opened at 11:20pm, so they opened early. Next, we went to Victoria's Secret. Then the Buckle. I am so happy because I got most of my Christmas shopping done! I got myself some earrings, a headband, and a bracelet. I got about 5 people on my list done. The mall was barely packed what-so-ever. I encourage you all to shop there Black Friday! There were about as many people there as there would be on a Saturday during the day, just so many good deals!

Day 52- Soy's 4 month

We only had one day of school this week, and that was Yesterday. We have Tues-Fri off! What a long weekend I'm lovin it! This also means spending some much needed time with my brother, Sawyer. I miss him and I still see him everyday. Monday's, Tuesday's and Thursday's I have work right after school, So I don't see him until 7 and he is usually taking a nap sometime near when I get home. On weekends, I'm not usually home that much So I'm very excited to have 6 days off to relax.

Sawyer's 4 month doctor's apt was Monday! He ways a whopping 17 lb 1 oz. Tubbs also gets to start on baby food! I can't even explain to you how excited I was to feed him this morning. I texted my mom from my room right when I woke up and said "Don't feed Sawyer without me." Sleepy Soy woke up later than me this morning. We set him up in his high chair (mom & I) and fed him peaches! He didn't really know what to do it was quite comical.

Day 51- TWILIGHT!

Okay so yes I like Twilight. Do I love it? No. Am I a twi-hard? It's a possibility. I never have been to a midnight showing of a movie until Thursday night/Friday morning. My good friend Brooke and I went. We went into Grand Rapids, got some Steak & Shake, then were headed to the movie. I just so happened to get pulled over. I was freaking out. I don't like cops, and that sounds stupid because I'm pretty sure no one likes cops, haha. I didn't get a ticket, he told me that my headlight was out and my tail lights were out. Turns out I really just forgot to turn on my lights, hahaha. I thought this was pretty funny. The movie was great, I encourage you to see it.

Now for Friday morning. PURE HELL. Brooke and I got home at 3am. So that means we got 3 1/2 hours of sleep that night. I had a nice shirt and everything to wear for this day, but I just couldn't do it. I had to wear a sweatshirt!

I didn't have a good picture of my outfit for my blog today. Since you can't tell from this photo, I wore skinny jeans, a sweatshirt, and my brown leather jacket. I also wore glasses which you won't see often :)

Friday night, my friend Alley gave Spencer and I tickets to the MSU basketball game. We went and had a super fun time. She gave us tickets for tonight's game too! So we got to go to tonight's game as well. This weekend was very good :)

Day 50

Today is a big day for me! Get ready for it....

IT'S BEEN 50 DAYS, AND I HAVEN'T WORN THE SAME OUTFIT!

For me, this is a milestone. I'm pretty happy about this one. I'm going to try to make it to 100, but I am not sure if that's possible. Yes, I have a bigger closet than most girls my age, but looking at it is hard for me to think I can make it to 100 days. Will I try to, yes. Think about this too, everyone has those clothes that they have in their closet that just take up space. WEAR THEM! I just went through my closet, and got rid of all the clothes I honestly think I won't wear.

Day 49

Today's outfit was bought for my Senior Pictures. Well the dress was anyways. The boots and tights I got this weekend when I went shopping. I curled my hair today, and let me tell ya, I was very sketchy about it. This is because I didn't know what my hair would look like curled when it's this short. My hair has been long for quite some time. My hair does not grow fast whatsoever.

 For some reason this makes my hair look frizzy. I don't think it looked that frizzy though, haha. I had to fix the brightness because I wanted to show the flower in my hair.

Today during my 4th and 5th hour, I saw our schools production of The Apple Tree. It was very good, I encourage you to watch it if you get the chance. I laughed more than once in all 3 Acts. If you don't know about this play, it's split up into 3 Acts, each one a different story.

Act 1- Adam & Eve

Act 2- The king's daughter wants to marry a commoner, the king finds out and gives him the usual punishment. He has to pick one of 2 doors. One has a tiger behind it, and one has a lady he must marry. The kings daughter finds out what is behind which door. and so she chooses whether he dies, or marry's another woman. (at least that's what I got from it)

Act 3- A girl named Ella that wants to be a movie star

Each Act was very funny.

Day 48- opening day & car troubles.

I wanted to start off today's post with a cute picture of Sawyer from Saturday.

I didn't attend school today. I decided to go hunting. I woke up at 5am to the sound of my Dad's alarm. I wasn't supposed to get up until 5:30am so I layed in bed sluggishly for about 20 minutes. My Dad asked if I wanted to hunt together (him and I) or separately. I've hunted by myself one time, and I didn't like it very much. One of the main reasons is because I don't like cougars. I swear they're in Michigan, and none of you will make me think differently! Also, I like hunting with my dad. it's kind of like a bonding time for us I suppose.

So this morning, I did not get anything. I did shoot, only at a 4 point. Now I don't want anybody commenting or telling me "you're one of those people that shoots 1 yr old's and spikes and blah blah blah". I've seen enough of that on facebook today as is! I went in planning on shooting any buck that walked by. My reasoning for this is because I doubt I will be hunting again with my dad. There's another last.

Today was the last time I will be going deer hunting with my Dad.

Every opening morning since I was about 10 my dad and I have gone out on opening morning together, and the youth hunt. It does make me upset that we wont be doing this anymore. It's not that I am choosing not to, but for the next 4 years I will be in college and won't be able to.

I forgot to take a picture in my camo before I left this morning, so I just took a picture of what I wore to work. Nothing special, I didn't want to waste a good outfit :) not that work didn't deserve it!

My not so wonderful Dynaride

Funny thing happened to me today. My car has really been acting up lately. Here is a list of things that have gone wrong with it within the last 2-3 weeks.

• Tape player no longer works.
• Cruise no longer works.
• Passenger side window won't roll down.
• Center counsel won't stay closed.
• Rearview mirror came off (that one I just had to slide back on, but for about a mile I had to hold it up myself)
• Automatic lock system won't work 

Now let me tell you the downfalls to all of these things..

tape player: I can no longer listen to music I want to.

cruise: I speed like a mofo without realizing it.

window: If I want to roll down my window to talk to someone, I have to roll down the back one like a dunce.

center counsel: just annoying.

mirror: My arm got tired from holding it, haha.

lock system: I never lock my car because I don't want to put the key in it (call me lazy)

Lock system happened about a week ago. Today I went to Shell because I needed gas, and I was going to Danica and Derrica's to watch gLee so since I hadn't had dinner yet, I decided I'd get some Subway. I brought my Nook to work today, and I didn't want to take it into Shell, so for once, I decided to lock my car. I went in, got my subway and paid for my gas and went back out to my car. I put the key in and it wouldn't unlock. I turned it the other way, wouldn't unlock. I tried this quite a few times before thinking okay I'll just go to the passenger side to unlock it. So that's what I did. I unlocked it from that side and pressed the button. Went back over to the drivers side and the handle is now broken. 

I had to climb into the passenger side of my car in public today just to get into it.

There's another one added to the list!
