Day 69- Happy Holidays.

Friday was our last day of school this year! We go back January 4th. I'm so excited to be off for these next two weeks. I don't really have anything big planned but I am very excited to spend it with my family and friends!

Friday's outfit was inspired by The Holidays!

How do you like my Christmas Sweater? It's my Grandmothers. I didn't want people to think I was trying to wear an ugly sweater today. I really like it and think it's cute! Although, I did feel kind of old today wearing this (sorry Grandma).

The school day Friday= ABSOLUTELY POINTLESS!

I did have a good day, though. It started off with my independent study, drawing and painting. I didn't do anything at all. Not a thing. I just chatted with my pals, Ben and Adison.

My 2nd hour was Spanish 3. We did a nice secret Santa. My person was Jordan Cooper (from Day 11- picture day). I decided it'd be funny to get him a live animal, so on Saturday, Spencer and I went to Petsmart and bought him a mouse. Her name is Priscilla. I bought a cage, bedding, food, and these chewing sticks and wrapped them all up for him. I wrapped the mouse in wrapping paper as well but don't worry you animal lovers out there! I poked holes in the top. My mom made my dad make Jordan a basketball shirt too (my dad has an embroidery & heat pressing business) because she felt bad that I got him a mouse. Needless to say, I think he liked it and now she is our new class pet. I received cute bobby pins from my friend Jessica :) Shout out to Jessica, thanks :)

I missed my 3rd hour to go to a Varsity Club pizza party. I played Euchre and watched Christmas movies, and of course ate some pizza.

My 4th hour I also missed to go to my Student Council party. Ahhh the perks to being on STUCO :) We all brought a dish to pass and we did a White Elephant gift exchange. I got a gift card to Subway and a big bag of M&M's. Great gift, Bryce :)

My 5th hour is Weight Training where I did half of an Insanity. Brooke, Aisha, and I started doing it and about 15 minutes in, Mr. Curtis asked if he could back it up so the whole class could do the first 10 minutes of it. We didn't really have a choice but we were okay with it! We still got a good work out.

Tuesday, Sawyer turned 5 months old!

Sawyer is starting to sit up on his own. I'm so excited to see him open presents tomorrow :)
On Wednesday, Sawyer and I got our pictures taken with Santa. He did so good!

Day 68- Fashion Fashion Fashion

Today, I wore some colors that are unlikely to be seen together. Brown and Red. I love this dress. Love love love it! I think the design on it is very unique. I decided to wear red tights because of the red in this dress. My brown heel/boots actually match the brown on my dress, I think the lighting may have messed with how it looks in the picture.

After typing the list of where my outfit came from, I realized there really isn't much to this outfit. I feel like I could've worn some sort of bracelet, but a necklace would've simply been too much.

I was pretty happy with the fashion in my school today. At Lakewood, not many boys dress up. I love it when guys dress up! I think it's really nice and handsome. Today, I actually saw a couple guys with sweaters on. If I wasn't doing a quick walk by in the hallway, I would've told them too. Jerry Grieser has the BEST style in our school for men. I love seeing what he wears every day. We had a nice chat about our outfits today as well.

My good friend Shannon Salgat has been wearing some really cute things lately! I love her style so much!

I'm really mad this picture is blurry. I wish it wasn't! I hope you can still see Shannon's outfit because it's really cute. Don't mind my hair, I washed it after weight training. Don't worry, it was the end of the day anyways!

Day 67

I'm so sorry. I forgot to do my blog for Friday. I don't know if anyone cares at all, haha, but I forgot and I will do it now. Friday I decided to go casual. Brooke and I went to the basketball game Friday night, so I decided I'd show a little school spirit this day.

Yes, I realize my shoes don't really match which is a biggy for me. But I had decided to be A Okay with it.

I'm very happy to say that I finished my first week of Insanity! The schedule for Insanity is Monday-Saturday. I do it in class Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Spencer has the Insanity workouts so I just borrowed the videos from him and did Wednesday's and Saturday's workouts at my house. Doing this will also hopefully make me a little faster in Soccer. I'm hoping it does and I hope I keep on doing it.

Day 66

Hola. So today was an alright day. I went to bed pretty early last night. I was asleep by 9:20 which is very early for this girl. I woke up at 4:30 because of a dream I had last night. The dream made me sad, but happy. In all honesty, if I could, I'd have that dream over and over and over again. When I woke up at 4:30 I figured it had been 6 and I woke up to my alarm because I hardly ever wake up on my own. I was kind of excited it was only 4:30 because this meant an extra hour and a half of sleep I was going to get! It was a plus to see that it was going to be almost 60 degrees today! I decided to wear a dress.

Day 65

Today, I auditioned for the Seussical. I'm pretty excited. I didn't really audition, I just told them I wanted to be in the chorus, but I'm still very pumped for it. I feel like I'm trying to do too much with my life right now but I don't really mind it. I like how my last year is going so far.

I didn't really wear this outfit the whole day today. I wore my white fuzzy North Face with a pink scarf. I will more than likely be wearing the outfit you see here after winter break :)

Day 64

 So this morning, I woke up and decided on black leggings with a grey button up and a belt. I couldn't remember if I've worn it yet this year so I checked through the pictures and sure enough I have. I was very close to saying screw it until I threw this outfit together. I've never worn these all together, today was a first!

I think this belt is very cool, and definitely fashionably unique, haha. I like the way it buckles and how it looks.

I'm sad to say that Spencer Palmer is no longer playing basketball. He screwed up his leg in the beginning of football season, and couldn't play. He started playing basketball, and now he is uncleared as of today. I am still going to Varsity's game tonight to support even though he won't be playing.

Day 63- just livin'

Nothing outstanding happened today, and nothing horrible happened either. Today was just normal, and I'm happy. I got a sweet tea, and went to school. At school today, I had to help out for this Ellis Island thing for the Freshman US History class. A couple of us student council members helped with this. Basically our job was to make their life in "America" A living hell. The first class, I pulled people off the boat. If they answered me when I talked to them, I sent them to jail. If I didn't like their shirt, I sent them to jail. I admit, it was pretty fun. The second class, I gave out new names. I really just made up new names. They could be whatever I wanted, so I chose names like skinny boy, Hiki boy (he had a hiki on his neck. a freshman! can you believe it?! I embarrassed him by announcing this to the whole class), you owe me a sweet tea, callus. etc. It was humorous to me!

To be honest with you about this outfit, I was looking through my closet trying to think of what I haven't worn to school. I came across this shirt and couldn't remember so I went downstairs and looked through all the pictures of me in the mornings on my computer. I didn't see the shirt anywhere so I decided to wear it!

Today I did Insanity again, and it felt good. I'm so happy I am doing this everyday now. My good pal Kelsey Brown is coming over tonight because I'll be home a lone so I'm pretty happy about that!
